Today was our first day of summer school. It runs for 5 and a half hours...with 2 ten-minute breaks. That is five hours and 10 minutes of The Ms. H Show....and WOOOWEEE was I tired. (I'm teaching Speech....which I make very interactive and high-energy -- which saps my energy but is worth it.)
I came home and slept for THREE hours. Thank goodness for Mr. Tivo. He took care of Oprah and Dr. Phil and House for me...so I could concentrate on acquiring the shut-eye.
Now I need to get after writing out the rest of my lesson plans for the session. We have to turn them in to the summer school principals...in case we're abducted by aliens, etc....and they need something more than "Day 1 - Chapter 1". (Which is pretty much my M.O.) dammit.
